Hello Craft is excited to be part of this year’s Mt. Pleasant Temporium Pop-Up Shop! This temporary retail space is a grant project funded by the DC Office of Planning and is run by the neighborhood association, Mt. Pleasant Main Street. As the Vendor Coordinator of this month-long retail space, Hello Craft had the awesome job of selecting local, Washington, DC-based crafters and artists to sell their wares in the shop.
Hello Craft invites you to stop by the Temporium to do some handmade shopping, and check out all the nightly events including live music, storytelling, trunk shows and hands-on workshops!
Be sure to check out the shop on the following dates to take part in these free craft-making sessions:
- 2/26 (1-3pm): Hello Craft’s Make Something Awesome Area – learn how to make pin sets from books, magazines, your own drawings and more.
- 2/27 (2pm): Washington City Paper’s newspaper craft workshop – The Paper that brings your the Crafty Bastards Arts and Crafts Fair will show you how to recycle their newspaper into fun and useful items.
- 3/13 (4-6pm): Hello Craft’s Make Something Awesome Area + (7-8pm) Handmade Gift Exchange – Buy or bring a gift to the shop ($15 value and under) to take part in the handmade version of the white elephant gift exchange on the closing night of the Temporium.
Even if you can’t make it to the Temporium before February 26th, you can still visit our vendors online, all year round. if you’re in the DC area we do hope that you’ll stop by the shop for some handmade goodness!
