Field Trips

hc_fieldtrips

Take a trip with Hello Craft to visit crafters, classrooms, warehouses, shops and more. Join us while we visit various crafting     hubs where you’ll meet people who inspire us, and have something new to teach you too.

Field Trips are open to all crafters, and unless otherwise noted, most of our Field Trips are designed to accommodate everyone from the craft dabbler to the more experienced, full-time crafter.

While we do keep our Field Trip fees accessible for all, space is usually limited, so it is advised to sign up early.

New Field Trips will be listed here, posted on our blog and advertised in our email blasts… so be sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter to get the inside scoop.

Hello Craft Members get a special discount on our Field Trips, as well as many other events! You can check out the complete list of membership benefits and join here.

Biggs and Featherbelle Factory Tour

BF2

Kelly and Kasey, sisters and co-owners of Biggs and Featherbelle, welcomed Hello Craft to their studio in Baltimore, Maryland, to learn the soap  business from the inside out.

After a tour of their studio and an overview on the daily workings of a craft-based business, Kelly and Kasey hosted product making demonstrations from start to finish, focusing on cold process soap techniques.  Attendees even got to create their very own body scrubs!

After the tour, the day ended with shopping on the Hampden Avenue, followed by a group happy hour at the brand new 13.5% Wine Bar.

Thank you Kelly and Kasey for an awesome and sweet smelling day in Charm City!
