1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse
Quarry Books/Nov. 2009/$25.00

Last October, we ran a call for craft submissions for Garth Johnson’s book, 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse… and we’re excited to announce that the book is now out, just in time for you to give it as an excellent holiday gift to your crafter friend, environmentally-conscious sister, or your neighbor who makes outsider art in his garage.

Johnson is the man behind the popular art-is-craft/craft-is-art blog, Extreme Craft, and also lectures in his traveling “The Extreme Craft Road Show”. In 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse, Johnson has put together an impressive collection of housewares, accessories, geek crafts, wearable art and more — all made with reused, upcycled, and already existing materials from crafters and artists the world over.

The projects that Johnson has curated in this book are beautifully rendered, but serve as more than just eye candy – they will inspire you to reuse, upcycle and create.
