		<description>Thanks for the article! I did my first craft fair a few weeks ago. I had the same concerns. I would oscillate between feeling that I didn&#039;t have enough to sell or I was wasting my time, energy and money into making things people wouldn&#039;t want. I agree with what thischickadee posted, the best thing I did was stick around and talk to customers. I found out so much information from them. Hearing them talk amongst themselves and having conversations with them helped me tailor my business and come up with  a few new products. Thanks again!</description>

		<description>one thing that i&#039;ve learned is that you never know what is going to be popular.  you can sell out of an item at one show and then at the next one no one seems interested.  maybe this is the murphy&#039;s law of crafting...you just never know...  so it makes sense to diversify, to have different offerings at different price points.

also, it is great to talk to shoppers.  what an opportunity!  how many times do you get to talk to the people that have made/overseen production on what you buy?  most craft enthusiasts are interested in the process and want to know a little about how their purchases made it from idea to product.</description>
